Frequently Asked Questions!
Do I need to be home during the service?
In most cases, you do not need to be home. As long as we have access to the areas being cleaned and a water source, we can complete the service while you’re away.
What is the difference between pressure washing and soft washing?
Pressure washing uses high-pressure water to clean hard surfaces like concrete driveways, patios or sidewalks. Soft washing uses low pressure combined with specialized cleaning solutions to safely clean siding, roofs, and any delicate surfaces without causing damage. At Hydro Force, we use the proper method for each surface to ensure safe and long-lasting results.
Will "Pressure Washing" damage my home?
This service is broadly known as "Pressure Washing" but the actual cleaning process to anything that isn't a concrete surface is known as "Soft Washing" and is no more pressure than your average garden hose. It is a more detailed process that thoroughly cleans your entire home without damaging anything.
Is your cleaning process safe for plants, pets, and children?
Yes, we take extra steps before and after the cleaning to protect any delicate plants or electronics with plastic and tape to protect anything from damage. We also use professional grade, Eco Friendly cleaning solutions that are safe for your home and landscaping. We also thoroughly rinse surrounding areas before and after the cleaning to protect landscaping, pets, and outdoor surfaces.
How much does pressure washing cost?
Pricing depends on the size of the home or surface, level of buildup, and type of cleaning required. We offer free, "No-Pressure" estimates and transparent pricing before any work begins. And a satisfaction guarantee, so that you do not pay until you are fully satisfied!
How often should I have my house washed?
Because of Eastern NC’s humidity, pollen, and coastal moisture near the coast or heavily shaded areas may need cleaning more frequently due to mold, algae growth. And the strong salty ocean breeze can cause salt to settle, and lead to damage for many surfaces on your home if left too long. As well as the many insects, spider webs and reptiles like frogs and lizards can leave their own little marks on your homes siding. With all of these factors, we recommend at least cleaning once a year.
